Ford Motor Company Fund and Community Services rewards more than
130 graduating seniors from area high schools during its
fourth annual Blue Oval Scholarship Program
The Ford Blue Oval Scholarship program was established to encourage students to stay in school and pursue post-high school educational goals.

In the four-year history of this program, Ford has awarded nearly $400,000 in scholarships to assist almost 600 area high school students with tuition, book fees and other educational costs.

"Ford is honored to continue its legacy of supporting education in Southeast Michigan," said Jim Vella, president, Ford Motor Company Fund and Community Services. "The Blue Oval Scholarship program is one of the many traditions in which Ford encourages high school students to strive for academic excellence in the communities where they live."
