Silverado display shows off what one can do with vehicle

DETROIT – Chevrolet's 2014 Silverado is meant to function as an office on wheels, and it has a special home at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

From the extended cabin room to the built-in filing cabinet, Chevy's latest pickup has everything someone who spends a lot time working on site or on the go would need. At Cobo Center, Chevy has removed the cabin from the rest of the vehicle in order to highlight all the enhancements.

The center console has specific designated areas for electronic devices, some big enough to fit a laptop. The interior looks and feels more like a luxury sedan, but retains all the practicality of a tough, work-ready pickup truck.

Be sure to stop by the Silverado display to learn more about what this pickup has to offer. You might be surprised by what you learn, such as the inset door frames which are meant to keep the wind noise at a minimal. That's something any office should have.
