2010 Charity Preview Tickets On Sale

POSTED: Monday, January 4, 2010

Tickets to the North American International Auto Show 2010 Charity Preview are now on sale.

Although the Detroit Auto Dealers Association lowered tickets to the exclusive event by nearly 40 percent -- the charity preview remains one of the most high-profile and philanthropic events in Detroit.

The 2010 black tie event at the Cobo Hall will be on Jan. 15 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The Romantics will be performing hits such as "What I Like About You" and "Talking In Your Sleep," at the 2010 Charity Preview.

The $400 ticket price will be cut to $250.

Money raised from the Charity Preview event goes to 13 local children's charities. Since 1989 the Charity Preview has raised more than $79 million for southeastern Michigan children's charities. Last year's event brought in 7,000 people and raised more than $6 million.

Local 4's Carmen Harlan, Devin Scillian, Guy Gordon, Rhonda Walker and Chuck Gaidica will also be on hand at the Charity Preview for the 2-hour live broadcast of the event starting at 7 p.m.
