Chrysler is making it easier for its employees to drive the products they make.

DaimlerChrysler is offering workers nationwide a one-year lease on certain 2004 vehicles. Employees can avoid monthly payments with a $2,000 payment.

Eligible vehicles include the Chrysler Sebring, Dodge Stratus, Dakota regular cab pickup and Jeep Wrangler.

Union workers can use part of a $3,000 signing bonus from their new, four-year contract with the automaker. Administrative and professional staffers not covered by the UAW also can take advantage of the program.

The offer runs through Nov. 10.
