WASHINGTON – Tax freedom day arrives April 18 this year, according to the Tax Foundation organization.
That's the 108th day of 2013 which is five days later than last year.
This represents how many days Americans will work before they've earned enough money to pay this year's tax obligations.
The foundation report says both higher federal taxes and rebounding incomes are responsible for the extra days needed to become free of those obligations.
