2 Detroit-based organizations named winners of Toyota's

Two Detroit-based organizations have been selected as winners in Toyota's '100 Cars for Good' program.

The program showcased five nonprofit organizations each day for 50 days last year, asking visitors to cast votes on who should get a free vehicle from Toyota.

Stafford House Inc. and The Gift of a Helping Hand were both winners who will get Toyota Tundras.

Stafford House provides housing to teens in a positive home environment, encouraging positive activities and offering opportunities to become more productive members for society. 

Helping Hand Charitable Trust Human Services program targets economically disadvantage families, individuals, seniors, homeless, physically challenging and other individuals who falls within the guidelines of living at or below the poverty-rate. 

The Tundras will be presented by Prestige Warren Toyota to the organizations during ceremonies on Feb. 5 and Feb. 6.
