LANSING, Mich. -

Two Lansing golf clubs will soon play host to a celebrity outing benefiting three local charities.

The Drew Stanton Foundation High 5ive Foundation Celebrity Golf Outing will take place over the course of two days at Eagle Eye Golf Club, starting on Thursday June 20, and at Hawk Hollow Golf Club on Friday.

The outing is a four person scramble event that will be attended by several sports celebrities including event host former MSU quarterback Drew Stanton. Organizers say sports celebrities, including players from the Lions, Tigers, Red Wings and former MSU basketball and football players will also take part in the event.

This is the fifth year that Drew Stanton will host this event and the 4th year that it has taken place in Lansing.  The event will benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Special Olympics of Michigan and Children’s Miracle Network.

In 2012 High 5ive Foundation donated $70,000 to these charities.  Since Stanton's involvement in the golf outing, The High 5ive Foundation has donated over $85,000 to The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and partnered with Lexus of Lansing to help build a procedure room at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, MI.
