More than 1,000 people are expected to march in this year's Veteran's Day parade in Macomb County.
The parade will take place on Mov. 7 and will mark the fourth year of the event.
The Metropolitan Detroit Veterans Coalition coordinates the event.
The parade will include the Fraser High School Marching Band, military units, ROTC, scouts and Civil War re-enactors.
"We have worked hard to build a parade Michigan would be proud of," coalition co-chairman Al Opra said. "We hope to see Michiganders line Woodward and pay tribute to the men and women who bravely joined our military to protect our freedoms."
For further information, contact Opra, at (586) 944-1989.
The parade starts at noon at Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 9's headquarters at 2951 Woodward Ave. and goes to Cadillac Square.
