Local 4, Tapper's Holds Coat Drive

Coat Drive For Needy Held Through Nov. 28

Local 4 and Tapper's Diamonds & Fine Jewelry are teaming up this year to collect warm weather gear for those in need.

With a colder than usual winter forecast on the horizon, Tapper's is holding a coat drive to make sure every metro Detroiter is warm this year.

The luxury diamond jeweler is asking for the public's help in making that goal a reality.

Donations for new and gently used coats, gloves, hats, mittens and scarves are being collected through Saturday at any Tapper's store locations.

Tapper's has two store locations: 6337 Orchard Lake Road in West Bloomfield and 27716 Novi Road in Novi.
