SOUTHGATE, Mich. -- ExpoGiant.com is heading downriver to host Oakland and Wayne counties' largest career expo.The “Empowering Michigan Career Expo” will take place on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Southgate.The goal is to match more than 500 job seekers with hiring employers.Several local companies will be present and ready to interview and discuss hiring opportunities.Representatives from the Unemployment Insurance Agency will be on site to answer questions about unemployment and the extensions that are available.The job fair is free to the public.Job seekers should dress for success and bring copies of their resumes.For more information, job seekers can visit www.giantjobs.net to view a database with more than 5 million hiring companies looking to hire unemployed Michiganders.
