Non-perishable food items will be sent to Gleaners Community Food Bank, where event organizers said low-income families will be able to get the necessary items to have a delicious holiday dinner.

The food collection points across the area are:

--Thus, Nov. 14: Value Center Market in Livonia (27428 Six Mile Road)

--Fri, Nov. 15: Value Center Market in Clinton Township (37155 Harper Avenue)

--Sat, Nov. 16: Value Center Market in Madison Heights (1485 W Fourteen Mile Road)
