Farmington Hills attorney Richard Bernstein said he has forgiven the cyclist who hit him while he was walking in Central Park last August. The attorney has filed a federal lawsuit against the city of New York claiming it violated the Americans with Disabilities Act. The NYC law department released a statement saying in part "We believe that the lawsuit is defective in several respects. First and most important is the fact that the complaint is wrong in stating that the City is violating the ADA."
