Nurse for hire? Wayne County could have a job for you

Wayne County has immediate openings for full-time nursing employment at jail, juvenile detention, public health office

DETROIT – Nurses seeking employment could find an opportunity with Wayne County.

The county has openings for full-time registered nurses at the Wayne County Jail and Wayne County Juvenile Detention Services and Public Health Nurses to work at the Wayne County Health Department.

Wayne County is holding a job fair on Thursday July 12. Interested applicants should bring a copy of their nursing degree, or transcript, along with a copy of their nursing license and driving license

The county's news release said applicants should come dressed for an interview for same-day hiring.

The job fair is being held the Wayne County Guardian Building, 500 Griswold, 32nd Floor, Detroit, Michigan 48226. It runs from 8:30 a.m. until 11 a.m.
