The city of Dearborn welcomes 6 new officers to police department

DEARBORN, Mich. -

The city of Dearborn and Mayor John B. O’Reilly, Jr. welcomed new members to the police department.

Six new officers were sworn-in by Chief Ronald Haddad at a ceremony on Dec 17th.

During the ceremony, Haddad stressed the "importance of following the U.S. Constitution while serving the citizens of Dearborn."

"It is the duty of all Dearborn police officers to serve the citizens of Dearborn with the superior service that our residents have grown accustomed to." said the mayor.

The six:

Both Chief Haddad and Mayor O’Reilly recognized these officers as “high achievers” who will begin a two-week in-house orientation program before starting their patrol activities on Dec. 31.
