DETROIT – A 10-week-old kitten was recently rescued from the suburban Detroit area. The kitten named Keller was found alone and crying on a Good Samaritan's porch.
It was clear at first sight that something was wrong with the tiny kitten.

A specialist determined the cat was born with an abnormality to both eyes leaving him without sight permanently.
Keller now needs to have both eyes removed surgically before a second eye rupture occurs and to prevent cancer down the road.
He is under the watchful care of 4 Paws 1 Heart, a 501-C3 organization that funds medical treatment for homeless animals.
"He is using the litter box, eating and drinking fine and in a small spare room. He loves to be held and he loves attention, and he is giving little kisses of appreciation. A true little angel," said Gina DeLuca co-owner of 4 Paws 1 Heart.
