Buffalo Wild Wings to host community day fundraiser

BWW to donate 10 percent of total sales to Boys & Girls Clubs

DETROIT – More than 500 Buffalo Wild Wings restaurants across the United States are inviting local guests to join them for a Community Day of April 9th.

The restaurants will donate 10 percent of total sales that day to a local Boys & Girls Club in their community.

Guest can support their local Boys & Girls Club by dining at a participating Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant, and may add a personal donation to their guest check if desired. Participating restaurants may also host a variety of fun guest activities to promote Community Day in the restaurant.

"Community Day is a great way for our guests to make a positive impact in their local community by joining us to support young people in Boys & Girls Clubs across the country," says executive vice president and chief financial officer at Buffalo Wild Wings and the driving force behind Team Up for Kids.

Following an initial partnership in 2013 that raised more than $1.5 million, Buffalo Wild Wings recently announced a three-year extension of its partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs of American to continue an all starts youth sports program across the country.

Buffalo Wild Wings will give more than 25,000 kids the chance to be part of a team through the initiative. Additional donations will be raised through sauce and seasoning bottle sales and a variety of in-restaurant promotions.
