Camp Casey holds Horsey House Call Sunday

Trevon Benson of Garden City gets therapy from riding horse.

GARDEN CITY, Mich. – It was no ordinary house call for 6-year-old Trevon Benson Sunday.

That's because it was a Horse House Call put on by Camp Casey.

Camp Casey is known for it's nonprofit work that brings horses to kids with cancer as a type of therapy. And on Sunday, Camp Casey brought a horse to Trevon's home on the 28000 block of Birchlawn in Garden City.

Trevon and other neighborhood kids got the opportunity to ride the horse around the block. The kids also got to participate in other fun activities.

Trevon has been diagnosed with chronic myelogenous leukemia or CML.
