DETROIT -

The Children's Center's 2014 AutoGlow will take place Friday at Ford Field following the North American International Auto Show Charity Preview.

The fundraiser will directly support the Children's Center's mission to help children and families shape their own futures.

Hosted by Lisa and Bill Ford, and Nicki and Alan Mulally, this year's theme, "Detroit Razzle Dazzle," brings back the era in which the Children's Center was founded -- the Roaring '20s -- with its speakeasies, glitz and "Great Gatsby"-style glamour.

Organizers said the event has been expanded this year to accommodate 200 additional guests, following last year's 1,000-guest sellout. Food, drinks, live music and entertainment will be offered at the event.

AutoGlow 2014 "Detroit Razzle Dazzle" will take place from 4:30 p.m. to midnight on Friday. The pre-reception will take place 4:30-7:30 p.m. Organizers said the main celebration will run from 8 p.m. to midnight.

There will be continuous shuttles to and from the NAIAS Charity Preview for AutoGlow guests.

Tickets are $325 each and can be purchased online here or by phone at 313-262-7123. In order to purchase an AutoGlow ticket, organizers said individuals must be a NAIAS Charity Preview ticket holder.

Ford Motor Company returns as the presenting sponsor of AutoGlow, building upon 85 years of support for the Children's Center. Proceeds from AutoGlow provide therapy for children who have experienced trauma associated with abuse, neglect and mental illness.

At the 2013 event, more than $250,000 net was raised for the organization. The event is also an opportunity to celebrate The Children's Center's founding in 1929, organizers said.
