Friday, April 21:

Cass Corridor, Connecting TimesSimone DeSousa Gallery presents Cass Corridor: Connecting Times, a series of exhibitions of past Cass Corridor artists curated by Nancy Mitchnick. Solo work by Michael Luchs, such as paintings, models and works on paper, will be on display.

David Lynch: The Art LifeIn the documentary "David Lynch: The Art Life," the artist and filmmaker reveals the experiences, insights, memories and obsessions that forged his imagination—from his birth in Missoula, Montana in 1946, to the 1977 release of his first masterpiece, “Eraserhead."

Woodcock Watch with Detroit AudubonAt dusk, watch woodcocks perform an aerial display at Oakwood Metro Park Nature Center.

Detroit Gatsby Spring Soirée!: Inspired by the F Scott Fitzgerald novel The Great Gatsby, the night will immerse attendees in 1920s culture, fashion, music and entertainment, recapturing a period that embodies extravagance, free spirits and glamor!

Art Road Makes SPLASH at Detroit Zoo: Fish sculptures made of recycled plastic to represent each of the Great Lakes will be on display at the Detroit Zoo through July 9.

Record Store Day at Third Man Records: Tour the pressing plant, play games and purchase limited editor merchandise in celebration of Record Store Day.

Also, celebrate Record Store Day at FOUND SOUND in Ferndale.

Spring Forward on Six Mile: Join us as we celebrate community and a re-imagined streetscape on McNichols! The block party features games, a market and entertainment.

Offworld Arcade's Evening of Electronic Amusements: More than 30 arcade games from Offworld Arcade will be at the Checker Bar in Detroit. Play as much as you want!

Belle Isle Spring Cleanup: Individuals, families and groups are invited to participate in the island-wide cleanup from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
