DETROIT – Film Challenge Detroit is back for the third year and is better than ever before. If you are looking to showcase your film skills, now is your chance.

Local 4 invites you to create and submit an original 5-15 minutes film by Sept. 22 relevant to this year’s theme: Good vs. Evil.

Since its inception in 2015, Film Challenge Detroit has received hundreds of submissions and thousands of votes.  Film Challenge Detroit was designed to be a competition for filmmakers of all skill levels, welcoming submissions shot on iPhones to high-definition equipment.

Starting June 26, enter for your chance to win a trip for four to the Sundance Film Festival! The runner up of this year’s challenge will be awarded $1,000 hard cash, and a GoPro camera will be given to the film for the most votes for the People’s Choice award.

All entries will be entries will be judged by Local 4’s panel of VIP judges. This year’s top 10 films will be recognized at the reveal party in October, complete with a red carpet, cool swag, and the official awards!
