Detroit-based pop-up dining group set up inside Shinola

Guns and Butter is a Detroit-based pop-up dining group. We strive for a quality dining experience that takes place in a fun, inventive atmosphere. The first pop up we did was last year at Brooklyn Street Local in Corktown. Since then, we've made dinner in 14 different venues, three cities and two countries. Guns and Butter is aiming to open up a permanent location in the spring of 2014.

As part of Detroit restaurant week Chef Craig Lieckfelt and his team set up their popular pop up restaurant called Guns and Butter inside Shinola located in midtown Detroit. A table for 20 is set and the lights are dimmed as Lieckfelt creates a creative and eclectic menu for the guests. As guests arrive they are also able to browse Shinola's selection of leather goods, bicycles, and watches. The guests take their seats and enjoy a dining experience to remember.
