A local mom nominated her daughter for Inspire Today after she battled health issues, beat the odds and wrote her first book.
"I am nominating my daughter Tiffany. My daughter Tiffany is a very kind and giving person. She is always there for her family. I feel it is time for her to get her blessing back in return. Don't get me wrong she is receiving blessings everyday from above. My daughter Tiffany became ill at the age of 17 with Meningitis and Encephalitis. She lost her memory and was almost near death. We were told that she would never be the same again. Tiffany was in and out the hospital with different physical and mental health issues. My daughter was like an infant again but her father and I worked with her along with other family members and professionals. Throughout her illness she did attend her high school graduation and prom and awards ceremonies for achievement but never knew she was there. Tiffany continue today to have medical issues and down times but she strives to be like "normal people" as she put it. We were told she would never be able to live a productive life. But God was with Tiffany. She worked had to prove everyone wrong even through her difficulties she achieved a Associate Degree from Schoolcraft College, she works limited hours at Kroger's with wonderful people there that watches over her, and she wrote a book and self published it "Aden the Beginning." She is now 31 years old a great adult that still strives today to be "normal." I would like Tiffany to finally get her recognition as being a success because still to this day she feels different and has a hard time understanding she is a great inspiration to others. So what I feel would be a blessing to her is to talk about her ability to continue to do things with her challenges and write a book. She needs to be recognized. :) We love her so much."
