DETROIT - Hartford Memorial Baptist Church honored Judge Damon Keith Sunday.
The church celebrated his distinguished career along with his 90th birthday party.
Keith, a native Detroiter, served as chief judge for the Eastern District Court of Michigan. One of his most notable decisions was his ruling that prohibited the federal government, under Richard Nixon, to perform warrantless wiretapping. The Supreme Court upheld Keith's ruling.
