Lift: Detroit fundraiser Saturday

Benefits disabled students

DETROIT – The second annual Lift: Detroit -- a Black Tie gala to benefit disabled students -- will be held 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday at the Detroit Historical Museum.
The event, aimed at young professionals, promises entertainment including The Drew Keys Band,  Sam Kay, H. Dean , Keely and DJs Rob-Play, Captn20, LeHands I-Khan.

Lift:Detroit includes young professionals and representatives from every industry throughout the Metro-Detroit area including: urban development, health care, beauty, hospitality, entertainment, sports, finance, fashion, technology, sustainable living and more, gather to discuss and initiate solutions and opportunities to building a stronger Detroit

Last year the event raised $5,000 for Cascading Krystals a non-profit organization promoting academic success for disabled students in the community by providing one-on-one guidance through mentoring and tutoring along with team-building social activities.
Tickets for the event are $50/person, $40/students.
The Detroit Historical Museum is at  5401 Woodward Avenue, Detroit.
