OAK PARK, Mich. – A team in Oak Park is proving that true that little league baseball can form friendships that last a lifetime.
About 50 years ago, a group of now grown men used to spend their summers on the baseball diamond.
In today's technology-driven world, it was Facebook that brought them all back together.
In 2010 the group decided to organize a small pick-up game. It quickly turned into a big reunion, and it's been growing ever since.
"All we did was play baseball, that's what brought us here," said Joel, one of those men.
He also said that even though they are all in their 60's now, there's still some pretty good baseball being played on the field.
