SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - Members from Local 4 laced up their basketball shoes to help raise money for charity.
Team Local 4 played against our friends at Fox 2 in a game benefitting Camp Hope at Hope United Methodist Church in Southfield.
Despite a valiant effort, Local 4 lost 36- 40.
Camp Hope helps kids build up interpersonal skills and self image through teamwork, positive reinforcement and role-modeling.
Donations raised will now go towards equipment and activities for more than 100 campers. The kids that will benefit from Camp Hope are the real winners.
Local 4 won last year's charity game so the friendly competition is all tied up. To be continued next year!
