The full day session will be held at Karma Yoga, located at 3683 West Maple Road in Bloomfield Township.

Organizers request a minimum $20 donation to participate, and proceeds will support veterans, human trafficking victims, homeless young adults and breast cancer survivors, among others.

“People under stress due to poverty, illness and other life circumstances can use yoga for coping, healing and ultimately empowerment,” said Lynn Medow, president of Yoga by Design Foundation.
