White Lake, Mich. -

The Oakland County Sheriff's Office, along with the White Lake Police Department announce 'Operation Medicine Cabinet', a prescription drug take-back collection that will allow individuals to drop off their outdated or unused prescriptions any day of the year. 

On Tuesday, June 18th, at 1 p.m., the White Lake Police Department will open their doors with a ribbon-cutting ceremony to introduce the new location for the collection of unused prescription drugs.  Anyone wishing to drop off prescription drugs is encouraged to attend the event.

The White Lake Police department is located at 7525 Highland Road in White Lake.

Local officials say this new location will accept unused prescription drugs 24 hours a day, seven days a week. 

Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard, along with Chief Ed Harris of White Lake will be in attendance to Tuesday's prescription drug collection and ribbon cutting ceremony.
