“The flood of support for these Detroit children’s charities is tremendously inspiring. Our team members, their friends and family, as well as the surrounding community have rallied together for a great cause,” said Chris Uhl, Quicken Loans vice president of community investments. “We set a lofty and ambitious fundraising goal of $500,000 in our first year of this campaign, and Quicken Loans is donating an additional $100,000 when the campaign ends this Wednesday, so we’re hopeful we can reach it.”

The 28-day fundraising campaign ended with a total of $641,656 raised, which will go toward multiple charities focusing on children in Detroit.
