Royal Oak gym open house raises money for dogs

Pulse Fitness to raise money for Homes FurEver

ROYAL OAK, Mich. – If you're looking for a new gym and want to try something different, Pulse Fitness in Royal Oak is hosting an open house Saturday, April 27 from 1 to 3 p.m.

The gym is asking for a five dollar donation to Homes FurEver dog rescue in exchange for the chance to try out an assortment of fitness classes from their trainers.

Some of the classes included are zumba, burlesque, aerial silk, pole dancing, yoga, bhangra, bokwa, cardio barre, and pilates.

Pulse Fitness is a gym that offers personal training, group training, aerobic classes, cardio conditioning and a nutrition shake bar.

Homes FurEver is a non-profit, no-kill, foster based canine rescue group that takes in all dog breeds. The group was founded in 2003 and has rescued, rehabilitated and found homes for nearly 4500 dogs and puppies.
