Super Bowl Sunday: Priya Mann learns to make pizza at Domino's

Whether you’re rooting for the Packers or Broncos, we all share a passion for food and nothing brings friends and family together quite like pizza.

We stopped by Domino’s in downtown Detroit a few hours before the mad rush. The pizza chain expects to sell more than 12 million slices today.

Our guide for the day was assistant manager Dan Dutcher, who happens to be a Marine Corps veteran.

When his service was about to end, he started delivering pizzas for Domino’s.

Within one year he was promoted from store manager to area manager.

Today, 90% of Domino’s franchise owners started as drivers.

Dan walked me through the pizza making process, with some hilarious moments in between!

I’ll let you judge the final product for yourself!

FYI – You’ll notice we were not wearing gloves while making the pizza. That’s because experts say food cooked in the oven does not require the use of gloves. However employees are required to wear gloves when preparing any cold product, i.e. salad.

Hope you enjoy the Super Bowl with those closest to you - and thank you Dan for your service.
