It was the perfect day to enjoy the sunshine and splash in Detroit's Palmer Park with the grand opening of the new splash park.

Lots of people turned out, including Balloon Man, plus there was a lot of good food.

Everybody was having a great time with the city doing something really positive for the community. There was only one problem -- there was no water.

Luckily, Detroit stepped in to solve that problem.

Detroit Fire Department hooked up their hoses, and sprayed the park goers to make sure they had a good time.
