DETROIT – The Wayne County Family Aquatic Center opens for its full season on Saturday.
It will be open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Labor Day. The pool closes at 6:30 p.m.

The center is located on Detroit's east side at 12600 Chandler Park Drive, south of the I-94 freeway.
The center is a smoke and alcohol free facility, with certified lifeguards on duty at all times, and a security team that patrols the entire facility.
Food concessions, bath house, and lockers are available.
Features at the park:
Spray fountains for children
Kiddie splish-splash land
Wave pool for teens and adults with more than 370,000 gallons of water creating waves up to 9 feet tall
Tube rides
Two 23-foot super-sized water slides

Non Wayne County Residents: Add $1 to resident's rates
