FDA Reveals Food Protection Plan

The Food and Drug Administration has said it will spend more than $270 million on a three-step plan to keep food safer for consumers.

The FDA will also add an advanced screening system for select foods coming into the United States.
But, at least one group is voicing criticism of the FDA's new plan.
The Food and Water Watch said the plan is not enough, that the focus should be on increased inspections on all food.
