Detroit Auto Show uses youth education day to bring community together

DETROIT – Automotive technology is on full display at North American International Auto Show from the Chevy Volt electric car to the Mercedes self-driving concept car.  Show-goers have been dazzled by the fabulous exhibits and automakers did not disappoint.  But more than just the visual allure is the opportunity to education future drivers about the automotive industry.

The eleventh annual NAIAS Education Day allows kids from pre-K through college to learn about career opportunities, hands-on design and other various industry related subjects through tours and interactive activities.  The event kicks off on January 21 at Detroit's Cobo Center.
