Global reveals draw strongest opening in six years

DETROIT – The first day of the North American International Auto Show Public Show drew 110,509 thrill-seekers according to an NAIAS spokesperson.  The strong attendance represents an increase of 3,949 guests over the 2014 opener and the greatest turnout in six years.  The best opening day ever was in 2000 when 118,877 attended.  

The NAIAS Public Show continues through Sunday Jan. 25.  Public Show ticket prices are: Adults: $13; Seniors: $7 (65 and older); Children 7-12: $7 (6 and under free when accompanied by a parent or guardian).
