Top 4 global reveals at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show

DETROIT – There are only a few days left at the 2015 North American International Auto Show.  Automakers did not disappoint with this year's collection of thrill-seeking supercars and futuristic plug-ins.  If you're short on time or you just want to jump around to the hottest reveals, here are my top 4:

Ford GT Supercar
Ford's surprise supercar was the superstar of the show.  It's sexy, exotic and at 600-horsepower, a little dangerous.  Expect to fight the crowd for a look, but it's the car everyone's talking about.

Mercedes F 015 Autonomous Concept Car
So futuristic it looks like it just drove off the set of a Keanu Reeves movie.  The Mercedes F 015 self-driving concept car is mesmerizing.  With its rotating front seats and space-age looking interior, it's definitely a must-see.

Local Motors Strati
At first glance it could be mistaken for a dune buggy, but the Local Motors Strati is the world's first 3-D printed car.  In fact, the company printed a version right on the show floor.  Its revolutionary manufacturing process shaves production time down to just 44 hours.  Check out the printing booth on the main show floor and head to the lower level for the complete finished version.

The Hyundai Santa Cruz
Hyundai's first foray into the pick-up truck category is in a class of its own.  The Santa Cruz features a unique sleek design that's part crossover SUV and part medium-size truck.  It's a sight worth seeing and could be a glimpse into the future of traditional pick-up trucks.

There's plenty more worth mentioning including the Acura NSX supercar, Buick's Avenir and the Chevy Bolt electric concept car.  Time's running out… get to the auto show this weekend and be sure to use the app's interactive map featured on the info tab!
