Ruth to the Rescue was contacted by 11-year-old Kevin Briggs who was sick of the run around when it came to some important family portraits.

Briggs and his mother took their dog Baxter to a pet photography company called, Portraits Unleashed which operates inside the Allen Park Petco.

Brigg's mother spent $80 for Baxter's portraits, a coffee mug and a picture mat with Baxter's image on it.

The Briggs were told the pet photos would take two to eight weeks.

But the photos never came.

When Briggs tried to call customer service he wasn't able to get through.

Ruth to the Rescue contacted the Better Business Bureau which said the Louisiana based company has received several complaints about similar problems.

The BBB said they have suspended the rating of Portraits Unleashed while they investigate the complaints.

Ruth to the Rescue was able to contact the owner, David Meyers who said his company will upgrade customer service and send out Baxter's photos.
