Teething toys recalled due to choking risk

Teething toys sold at Target now recalled

If you have an infant at home, you will want to check your child's teething toys.

The U.S. Consumer Product and Safety Commission is recalling 191,000 teething toys that pose a choking risk to children.

The toy is made by Infantino and called the Go Gaga Squeeze & Teethe CoCo the Monkey. Intended for newborns, it is made of soft orange rubber, squeaks, and is shaped like a monkey. Infantino reported seven infants have choked or gagged on the monkey's tail. No injuries have been reported.

The monkey measures 4.5 inches high and 5 inches long. It has a model number 206-647 marked on the inside of the monkey's rear left leg.

The toys were sold at Target stores between late 2012 and early 2014 for about $13.

If you own this toy, you're advised to keep the product away from your child and contact Infantino for a replacement.
