Garden Fresh expands salad recall

Milwaukee-based company warns of possible listeria contamination

Garden Fresh Foods is expanding its voluntary recall of ready-to-eat salads, coleslaw and dip products due to possible listeria contamination.

The products are sold under various brand names, including Garden-Fresh, Grandpa's, Archer Farms and D'Amico & Sons.

They are distributed in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa Illinois, Ohio, Indiana, Texas, Florida, Massachusetts, Missouri, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Arizona and California. 

Consumers who have purchased any of the suspect products are urged to return them to the store they bought them from for a full refund.

The products are being recalled in association with a recall by the same company of ready-to-eat chicken and ham products.

There have been no reports of illnesses.
