A girls sandal from the company Stride Rite is being recalled because part of it could be a choking hazard.
Stride Rite is recalling the "Joanna" sandal after reports that the decorative flower at the top of the shoe can detach.

The company received six reports of the flower detaching and eleven reports of the flower loosening, though no injuries have been reported.
The sandals, which have an ankle strap, three bands and a flower on top, were sold in white with a silver flower and brown with a copper flower.
"Joanna" is printed under the front shoe strap, with the name "Stride Rite" written on the bottom of the shoe.
The sandals were sold online, at Stride Rite stores, and department stores nationwide between December 2011 through May 2013. The price range was between $30 to $42.
Safety experts urge parents to take the sandal away from their children and contact Stride Rite for a refund.
Customers, who return the sandals, will receive a voucher for the purchase price redeemable at Stride Rite stores or www.striderite.com.
