Local 4's Ruth Spencer, Dr. Frank McGeorge and Rod Meloni team up to break down how the Affordable Care Act could impact you

DETROIT – The Health Insurance Marketplace will list the plans and their price break downs for consumers who need to purchase health care by October 1.

All day Monday beginning on Local 4 News Today and beginning at 6 a.m. we will help get you ready for the changes coming with the Affordable Health Care Act.

Ruth Spencer will show break down who can get health plans, look at the costs and the penalties you could face if you don't sign up.  She'll also help you navigate the online marketplace.

Dr. Frank McGeorge will look at the changes the Affordable Care Act could bring to your actual health care whether you will notice a difference when you go to the emergency room or make an appointment with your family doctor.

Local 4 Business Editor Rod Meloni will tackle how the new law could impact small businesses.

Local 4 will also have experts answering your questions in its phone bank and online at ClickOnDetroit.com from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Monday.   You call (313) 298-WDIV during those time periods or go online to ClickOnDetroit.com.
