The traditional start of the holiday shopping season, Black Friday usually begins at midnight on the Friday after Thanksgiving. Some retailers, however, are pushing the envelope into "Grey Thursday," when they opened on the holiday. Regardless, the usual mayhem over deals on holiday merchandise drew out shoppers by the thousands in the early morning hours of Friday, November 29, 2013.
