Graco recalls 4.7 million strollers over finger amputations

At least 11 incidents have been reported

DETROIT – Nearly 5 million Graco strollers are being recalled in North America after at least 11 reports of children's fingers getting cut off on the hinges.

The incidents include six fingertip amputations and four partial amputations.

This recall, which involves 4.7 million strollers in the U.S. and 202,000 in Canada, includes 11 models of Graco stroller: Aspen, Breeze, Capri, Cirrus, Glider, Kite, LiteRider, Sierra, Solara, Sterling, and TravelMate Model Strollers and Travel Systems.

If you have one of the strollers, you can contact Graco for a free repair kit starting next month. In 2010, Graco recalled strollers for the same reason.
