Help Me Hank recall alert: Carpet cleaner recalled over bacteria concerns

550,000 units of dry carpet cleaners recalled

DETROIT – Help Me Hank is tracking a recall involving 550,000 units of dry carpet cleaners sold under a variety of brand names: Arm and Hammer, Capture, Healthy Home, Oreck, Resista and Riccar.

The manufacturer, Milliken, says the brands might contain harmful bacteria, which can lead to a risk of respiratory and other infections for people with weakened immune systems.
