Local youth choirs can win a chance to perform with rock band Foreigner

Deadline for entries is Friday

Detroit – Local youth choirs may be used to being in the spotlight, but legendary rock group Foreigner is offering a chance to join them on stage during their concert July 3 at Freedome Hill.
The winning group, will perform "I Want to Know What Love Is" with the band.
Area Choirs must submit a link/video of their choir singing (No more than 25 students) to info@freedomhill.net by Friday. Foreigner will donate $500 to the winning choir.
The selected choir will also assist in selling Foreigner CDs to the concert-goers to help raise money for the Grammy Foundation, which successfully raises monies for high school music programs throughout North America.
Nominated choirs will be posted on Macombdaily.com starting on May 22 and votes will determine who will sing with Foreigner.
 Founded in 1976, Foreigner has sold more than 70 million albums and has experienced multi-platinum success around the world.
