A new bill in Lansing could allow customers to sign up for a no-call list that would keep them off telemarketer's lists.
The proposal also includes a provision allowing the attorney general to prosecute companies that contacted someone on the list. It would also prohibit companies from blocking their numbers when calling customers.
The State Senate is supposed to start debating sometime this week.
