John Mahfet, of Fraser, was taken into custody for allegedly forcing a 12-year-old Roseville girl to strip in front of a Webcam.

Mother Accuses Man Of Forcing Daughter Into Sex Acts

The girl's mother told Local 4 she fears her daughter isn't only victim.

"It's the one time that I couldn't protect my little girl and she was a victim of John Mahfet," the mother said.

The incident apparently happened while the girl was baby-sitting Mahfet's girlfriend's child. Investigators say he forced the 12-year-old to perform sex acts in front of a Webcam.

"And she was to do as that man told her to do on the other end of the computer, which included taking off her clothing and touching herself," the girl's mother said.

Mahfet allegedly told the girl he would tell her mother she was doing bad things if she didn't listen to him, Local 4 reported.

The girl's mother says that Mahfet admitted he had naked pictures of her daughter, but said he didn't force her to do anything.

Mahfet is being held at the Macomb County Jail.

Police have questioned others, but Mahfet remains the only one charged in the investigation.

He faces a preliminary hearing at the end of May.
