MOUNT CLEMENS, Mich. - All Mount Clemens Community Schools will be closed Tuesday as a health precaution.

Last week, a teacher within the district was diagnosed with MRSA, a contagious staph bacterial infection, and a paraprofessional is sick with the same symptoms.

The high school will be cleaned.

The buses must be cleaned, too, because one of the sick staff members had been on a field trip. The school said buses will be cleaned around 5:30 a.m. That has forced the district-wide closure, the superintendent said Monday night.

Classes are expected to resume on Wednesday.

The district posted the closure announcement on its website.
