DETROIT – Detroit's Murphy Elementary-Middle School has canceled classes for the remainder of Wednesday and also on Thursday after a fire broke out in a locker room.
No students or staff were injured in the fire, which broke out just before noon Wednesday. But the school did fill with smoke and time is needed to clear it out.
